Our mission is to bring people together to design, build, and promote sustainable communities that allow people to realize their greatest potential and live life to the highest level of their independence
We support individuals with varying degrees of ability and provide the opportunities and supports needed to live life BEYOND limitations in their own homes and communities to the highest level of their independence.
Our planning, design, and implementation in the area of placemaking agriculture and aquaponics turns vacant lots into vibrant plots. Our STEM curriculum is designed to provides the full life cycle of small acreage food production and distribution.
Our Helping Others Pursue Excellence (H.O.P.E.) Strategy began out of the desire to directly contribute to community residents, in a meaningful way. Most communities we serve are a contracting population, lack of job skill/readiness development, and have a significant reduction in employment opportunities. The Urban Frontier Organization’s H.O.P.E. Strategy fills a void left by other temporary and permanent placement agencies.
Just because someone is not “competitive” does not mean that they cannot work. It merely means that they need a different strategy to become employed. CEED provides full employment supports for individuals with varying degrees of ability to start their own business or apply and retain employment to live life to the highest level of their independence.
We believe underfunded parks and recreation departments, vacant and abandoned lots to be an integral component to a community's economic vitality. We serve as a catalyst for economic and community development by activating forgotten, neglected or abandoned spaces supporting the areas of recreation, art, entertainment, and food diversity.
We cultivate urban life to mine the gold of human potential
We recognize community means different things to different people. We embrace those differences to support individuals and communities to realize their potential.
